Full-time/Service Contract/PENDING DONOR APPROVAL

ԱՇԽԱՏԱՆՔԻ ՆԿԱՐԱԳԻՐ՝ 

Currently Action Against Hunger South Caucasus has an opening for a full-time position for a driver in its Yerevan office in Armenia;

- Transport people and equipment across Armenia;
- Ensure the maintenance of the vehicle under his/her responsibility;
- Respect logistics procedures;
- Demonstrate commitment towards gender equality issues.

ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝ 

Objective 1: Transport people and equipment under good security conditions;
- Respect traffic regulations and laws of the country;
- Carry all necessary and valid documents (car identification, driving license, mission order etc.);
- Use safety belt and assure passengers also do, at the front and at the rear;
- Never exceed the speed of 90 Km per hour;
- Adapt the speed to the road conditions (villages, populated areas, heavy vehicle, bad roads etc.);
- Respect the safety distance with other vehicles;
- Keep at least 1,5 m lateral distance when over taking people or bicycles;
- Do a daily checking of the vehicle (oil level, water level, brake and clutch fluid, tire pressure etc.);
- Fill the logbook;
- Follow communication rules with the Base;
- Respect all the AAH rules and procedures regarding car movements (accidents, night movements, parking etc.);

Objective 2: Ensure maintenance of the vehicle and support with office premises management;
- Solve minor technical problems;
- Inform the logistics department of any problem or major repairs to be carried out;
- Carry out daily checks before starting up the motor;
- Keep the vehicle clean;
- Ensure radio communications, if pertinent;
- Note down fuel consumption in the record book in the morning and at the end of the day as well as any information concerning the maintenance of the vehicle;
- Check the security boots;
- Support with small office reparations, deliveries of letters or other documents etc;

Objective 3: Prepare departures to the field;
- Participate in collecting and analyzing information from different stakeholders/sources and inform Head of Base;
- Follow the process of updating the base security plan on regular basis and contribute to the annual Risk Response Plan exercise;
- Inspect and prepare the vehicle the day before departures so as to be on time;
- Prepare additional equipment to be brought along according to needs (fuel, stickers, flags, tools, medical kit);

Objective 4: Safeguarding;
- Ensure the Safeguarding implementation plan is followed correctly and in a timely manner within the project framework;
- Take proactive measures to create and maintain an environment free from sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA);
- Promote a culture of zero tolerance for SEA and its importance in safeguarding the vulnerable individuals we work with.

ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝ 

- Excellent knowledge of the roads and community locations;
- Excellent knowledge of log and traffic rules;
- Ability to solve minor technical problems;
- Commitment to gender equality.
