Service contract/PENDING DONOR APPROVAL

ԱՇԽԱՏԱՆՔԻ ՆԿԱՐԱԳԻՐ՝ 

To provide high-quality interpretation services for program activities and direct engagement with beneficiaries. The role requires accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation to support communication between our staff and Farsi-speaking communities. Ensure that beneficiaries fully understand program activities, rights, and services offered by the organization.

ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝ 

- Provide consecutive and, where applicable, simultaneous interpretation for beneficiaries during interviews, meetings, trainings, and focus group discussions;
- Facilitate clear and culturally appropriate communication between program staff and Farsi-speaking beneficiaries;
- Assist in community outreach, registration, and program delivery by ensuring accurate understanding of instructions, guidance, and documentation;
- Maintain confidentiality, neutrality, and professionalism in all interactions with beneficiaries;
- Support translation of short notices, forms, and educational materials where needed;
- Report any issues or feedback from beneficiaries to program staff, ensuring concerns are communicated accurately.

ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝ 

- Fluency in Farsi and Armenian or English (speaking, reading, writing);
- Proven experience as an interpreter in humanitarian, social, or field programs is highly desirable;
- Strong understanding of cultural and social norms of Farsi-speaking communities;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening and empathy;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and neutrality in sensitive contexts;
- Comfortable working in field environments, sometimes under challenging conditions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with INGOs, NGOs, or humanitarian programs;
- Knowledge of basic humanitarian principles and protection standards;
- Ability to support translation of program materials (forms, flyers, announcements);
- Knowledge of English for reporting purposes or coordination with program staff.
