ОПИСАНИЕ ДОЛЖНОСТИ : 

As part of GIZ´s efforts regarding the duty of care, GIZ Armenia has established a Security Risk Management unit within its Country Office to serve and advise all projects within the GIZ Armenia portfolio as well as official GIZ visitors. The selected candidate will assist and is later foreseen to take over from the International Risk Management Adviser in implementing a system conducive to GIZ activities and goals calibrated to its threshold of acceptable risk. S/he will make sure procedures are implemented accordingly in collaboration with project managers and all colleagues bearing Security Risk Management Responsibilities in their respective domains.

ОБЯЗАННОСТИ : 

- Support all safety and security-related processes in accordance with GIZ rules and regulations;
- Monitoring and analysis of the safety and security situation;
- Designing and implementation of security and risk management related exercises, drills and trainings;
- Maintain and contributing to the development of the GIZ risk management system;
- Support field missions and security assessments across GIZ operational areas;
- Provide administrative and logistical support when needed;
- Facilitate communication and awareness regarding risk and emergency protocols;
- Ensure service orientation toward projects and stakeholders;
- Assist in monitoring security developments and preparing area risk assessments for GIZ locations;
- Provide consultation to GIZ staff on context-specific risk mitigation measures;
- Participate in emergency preparedness tasks (Managing the Emergency Mass Notification System, monitoring an updating phone cascade, ensuring visitors and short-term staff are integrated into GIZ communication channels);
- Oversee SRM documentation and IDA page updates;
- Ensure all SRM files are properly stored, categorized, and accessible;
- Maintain accurate and updated lists for staff contacts, tracking, and operational checklists;
- Deal with Risk Management in needed meetings;
- Provide a monthly Risk Management overview on a regular basis.

ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ : 

- University degree (preferably in Engineering, administration or security-related field);
- Alternatively significant learning experience in security-related field;
- 2 years of working experience with international organisations;
- At least 5 years of experience in office management or logistics;
- Working experience with GIZ is considered an advantage;
- Driving license holder.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Excellent written and spoken English and Armenian / German would be an asset;
- Excellent command of MS-Office and Microsoft Teams;
- Proficient use of modern telecommunication systems;
- Excellent office administration, organizational and self-drive skills;
- Good presentation skills;
- High standards of confidentiality and loyalty;
- Reliable, accurate, consistent, persistent and easy going.

О ПРОГРАММЕ : 

GIZ’s security risk management (SRM) work is intended to minimise the risks GIZ staff members face in their working and living environment. Its objective is to assist the Country Director (CD) and all GIZ staff in implementing country-specific and company-wide security risk management strategy according to Minimum Security Standards (MSS) and to provide support to projects on aspects related to SRM in Armenia.
