Full Time; 40 hours per week scheduled according to office needs (typically 9:30 A.M. to 6:30 P.M.)

JOB DESCRIPTION :

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
The Finance Administrative Assistant (FAA) provides management, financial and program support to the Administrative Unit within Peace Corps Armenia and reports directly to the Deputy Director of Management and Operations (DDMO). FAA duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assists with budget planning, implementation, maintenance, performance and analysis
- Accounting and processing financial transactions
- Administrative support
- Volunteer support
- Travel support

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : 

- Education: University degree, equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, administration or related field.
- Prior Work Experience: Four (4) years of professional administrative experience.
- Language Proficiency: Level 4 language proficiency in both English and Armenian, according to the Interagency Language Roundtable http://www.govtilr.org/.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes: Competence in using the Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook; Ability to operate general office equipment such as: copiers, printers, computers, cell phone; Strong sense of integrity; Ability to maintain confidential information; Attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure is essential; Ability to travel occasionally, both locally and internationally.
Final offer will be contingent on ability to pass a background check conducted by the U.S. Embassy.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Advanced degree, equivalent to master’s degree or higher in administration or related field.
- Prior Work Experience: six (6) or more years of progressively responsible professional administrative
experience; Experience working with Americans and/or international organizations.
- Language Proficiency: Level 5 language proficiency in both English and Armenian, according to the Interagency Language Roundtable http://www.govtilr.org/
- Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes: Working knowledge of United States Government procedures and policies.

REMUNERATION/ SALARY : 

12,064,366 AMD annually (gross amount), plus benefits
